GERMAN NATIONAL TEAM ADIDAS FIRST NEVER FOLLOWS FILM

As the kick-off of the match between Germany and Poland approached, adidas released the latest film in the First Never Follows campaign.

Designed to push the Mercury Pack boot collection, the films put some imaginative narrative to the adidas teams competing at Euro 2016.

Neuer dons a superhero cape due to his fearless attitude, whilst Özil is handing out sweets with a smile on his face to symbolise is ability to assist his team mates. Hummels dresses as a nightclub bouncer - keeping opposition attacks away - and Mueller provides the final rallying call.

All of this is put forward by a group of teenage, German wannabe footballers. A very good advertisement.
